“Ural optical-mechanical plant” them. E.S. Yaakov (JSC “PA “UOMZ”) in 2021 carried out a large-scale diversification of unique technological competencies in the development of nanometer resolution laser microscopes and precision positioning systems based on aerostatic guides. Unique technological competencies (UTC) of the enterprise were identified, including the development of laser microscopes of nanometer resolution (<100 nm, which have no analogues in the world.

precise positioning systems based on aerostatic guides (which have no analogues in the world), optical systems of microscopes with optimization of control algorithms a photodetector system, etc. A number of high-tech projects were implemented with the attraction of external financing in the amount of more than 100 million rubles for 2020-2021.

and innovative products worth more than 20 million rubles were sold in 2021. A technological leap in optical instrumentation has been ensured due to a multiple increase in the quality of optical surfaces to the nanometer level. Methodology scaling can provide an explosive growth in the diversification of scientific and technological enterprises, including defense industry organizations.

The world’s first digital twin standard

In 2021, the world’s first standard in the field of digital twins was approved, developed by specialists from the NTI Center “New Production Technologies” of Spuy together with the Russian Federal Nuclear Center – the All-Russian Research Institute of Experimental Physics. The new GOST, which will come into force on January 1.

2022, is a completely domestic development. For the first time in the world, a regulatory document is introduced that focuses on the creation of products using digital twin technology. This is an advanced technology created at the intersection of the material and digital worlds, which is becoming a driver for the sustainable economic development of companies during the fourth industrial revolution.

Digital platform for conceptual design and optimization of aircraft products

In 2021, the creation of a basic methodology for the development of power structures for aviation equipment using digital twins was completed. For this, a unique development of the Central Committee of the NTI Spuy was used – the CML-Bench digital platform, which provides management of activities in the field of digital design.

mathematical modeling and computer engineering. In particular, it allows you to automate the processing of virtual test results and track the development of various design solutions in the optimization process.

The project is aimed at improving the strength and flight performance of products and increasing their competitiveness in the world market. The digital platform is already being used to solve a wide range of problems in the aircraft and helicopter industries when conducting research and development work with leading manufacturing companies in the Russian Federation and the world.

Integration platform of Yantarenergo JSC, which allows the systems of the corporate and technological segments to exchange data

In 2021, as part of the Digital Transformation Strategy of PJSC Rossetti, the first stage of the project to create an integration platform at Yantarenergo JSC was successfully implemented. For the first time.

a platform has been developed that converts data to the CIM standard (Common Information Model) and allows corporate and technology segment systems to exchange this data. Yantarenergo JSC received a universal solution and a unified tool for integrating new and existing information systems into a single IT landscape. The system can be scaled for implementation in other companies.

Exalted II medical exoskeletons

Thanks to domestic medical exoskeletons, people paralyzed as a result of an injury or stroke are able to walk, sit down and get up without assistance.

Flying drone taxi (air taxi) “Hover”

The flying drone taxi was first presented to the public on January 25, 2021. He took off with passengers on the territory of the Luzhniki Sports Complex. Air taxi testing continues. Now its flight time is 30 minutes, the drone is capable of lifting up to 300 kg (two passengers and luggage) into the air, as well as moving independently on the ground at a speed of up to 20 km/h (parking mode).

“Hover” in size almost does not differ from a conventional car. This allows him to land in a standard parking space, maneuver in the parking lot and drive into the garage. The estimated cost of an air taxi trip will be from 200 rubles per 1 km. The launch of an air taxi will reduce the number of traffic jams inside the city and reduce environmental damage by reducing the amount of harmful emissions.

Perspective transport space systems Paragon/Hybris/Aeris (VNH-Energo LLC)

VNH-Energo is developing a large-scale project – an ultra-light launch vehicle capable of launching a payload weighing up to 250 kg into orbit. To do this, in 2021 the company, together with BSTU “VOENiMEH” named after. D.F. Ustinova manufactured and tested a hydrogen liquid rocket engine for a small orbital upper stage.

During this year, a design scheme has been created, manufacturing technologies have been worked out, fire tests have been carried out. Separately, the optimization of the design of an intercontinental ballistic missile was carried out, special attention was paid to the power structure. As a result, the frame weighs only 5 kg. In all calculation options, a fully charged device should weigh 50-60 kg.

Development of standards for telecommunications equipment Open RAN

In 2021, specialists from the NTI Competence Center based on Skoltech developed the world’s first series of preliminary national standards in the field of fifth generation (5G) mobile networks – OpenRAN. It is based on the specifications of the international O-RAN Alliance and is fully compatible with the requirements and recommendations of the 3GPP consortium.

National OpenRAN standards are necessary to create a competitive market for domestic telecom equipment for 5G networks. Their use will ensure the protection of critical communication infrastructure. The standards open up unique opportunities for the Russian telecommunications industry to enter the international market for mobile network equipment (more than $100 billion a year). The document has passed the stage of public discussions, in the near future it will be sent for approval to Rosstandart.
