The best IT projects and technologies of 2022 received Chew’s AWARDS

Due to known restrictive factors, the organizers again used a mixed format for holding the event – a significant part of the forum was held online. However, the nominees had the opportunity to receive the prizes in person. News analysts evaluated about 100 applications submitted by companies, analyzed information posted in open sources. As a result, 13 of the most interesting, innovative and promising projects and solutions were selected.

Best Enterprise Data & Deep Analytics Platform

The winner in the Best Corporate Data and Deep Analytics Platform category was Urlacher’s project to create a corporate data and artificial intelligence platform based on SberCloud.Advanced PaaS services. The platform includes more than 50 cloud products: from autoscoring virtual servers to Kubernetes-based deployment automation, scaling and application management service, server less computing, managed databases and Big Data analysis services.

It allows you to efficiently manage your IT infrastructure, applications, and Internet services, and minimizes the resources required to keep your IT systems running. The solution significantly reduces the time to market for new products and services. Ural hem ​​received a data storage scalable in a matter of hours with the possibility of centralized management.

Digital Business Model Transformation: Company of the Year

The award in the nomination “Digital Transformation of the Business Model: Company of the Year” went to Gopnik, which has been one of the world leaders in reliable security printing for 200 years. The company looks to the future and creates modern digital products. Two data centers have been built in Moscow and St. Petersburg, a cloud for commercial customers and a private cloud segment for government customers are being created. The company intends to develop digital payment services.

In 2021, a digital solutions laboratory was opened on the basis of the Perm Printing Factory. It develops products for biometric identification and identity verification, offers technologies for automated pass of passengers based on biometric data at international airports and biometric identification of dogs.

The award was received by Viktor Braylin, Deputy General Director for Government Customers and Digital Development at Gopnik.

Digital Security

The winner in the Digital Security nomination, established jointly by News and Gazinformservice, in 2021 was the Federal Customs Service represented by Vladimir Skiba, Head of the Main Directorate of Information Technologies. The FCS of Russia has completed the implementation of the Concept for ensuring information security of customs authorities for the period up to 2020.

Now customs operations can be carried out digitally, and legally significant actions can be performed by software robots without human intervention.

The legal significance of all decisions, regardless of whether they are made automatically or by officials, is confirmed by an electronic signature.

The electronic signature is verified by one of the departmental certification centers that have existed for more than 15 years. Checking the status of certificates and affixing the timestamp takes place inside the information system of the customs authorities isolated from the Internet. Currently, work is underway to adapt the infrastructure for providing an electronic signature in the customs authorities to the amendments to the federal law “On Electronic Signature” that come into force.

The award ceremony was attended by Kirill Romanov, Head of the Department of Information Security and Technical Protection of Information of the Information Security Service of the Main Directorate of Information Technologies of the Federal Customs Service of Russia. The award was presented by Alexander Sinelnikov, a representative of the Gazinformservice company, commercial director of the branch in Moscow.

Company of the Year

In the spring, a new brand appeared on the Russian IT market – T1. Previously, we knew these companies as the Technoserv group, but major changes and business transformation required rebranding.

The winner in the Expansion of the Year nomination was mend, a private meeting platform for business based on its own technology stack. The mend platform is used by about 900 corporate users worldwide. The solution is provided both directly through the site and through authorized partners and telecom operators.

In 2021, the mend solution received international recognition. For example, B2B platform Finance Online, based on the results of independent testing, assigned 8 points out of 10.

IT Solution of the Year in Medicine

The medical digital diagnostic center developed by SberMedII was selected as the winner in the nomination IT Solution of the Year in Medicine.  A comprehensive solution helps to make a diagnosis and check it with the help of specialist doctors based on the data of the initial appointment, instrumental and laboratory diagnostics.
