Dell Technologies reimagines work with new laptops

Progress does not stop and expectations for technology are growing. Dell Technologies is releasing new products and software to support remote workers and help people be productive and stress-free. With a new portfolio of smart, secure and green devices, Dell is making the work environment more comfortable so that any remote team can perform at its best. The company’s products provide high-quality and uninterrupted Internet connection.

Smart computing for digital work

The 15.6-inch Latitude 7520 laptop has been added to the lineup. The 13.3-inch Latitude 7320 and 14-inch Latitude 7420 have also been updated.

The ComfortView Plus screen allows you to work in 4K or FHD, it is integrated with a hardware solution that takes care of eye health (reducing the effects of harmful blue light), while maintaining exceptional color reproduction.

All three models can be configured with a 32GB 11th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processor. The new Dell Latitude 7420 and 7320 are available in both classic and convertible versions, offering more flexibility in how users interact with the device.

The new Latitude 7000 series further protects privacy with new Camera Shutter and SafeScreen options. The new series also includes an optional FHD IR camera with TNR technology. With improved camera quality, premium speakers, and intelligent audio, these laptops deliver high-quality video conferencing no matter where the participants are physically located.

Dell is further upgrading its Latitudes with a new version of the Dell Optimizer software, which uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to help the laptop adapt to user needs by automatically adjusting certain performance areas, including battery life, audio quality and connectivity.

The latest version of Dell Optimizer provides intelligent noise reduction and automatic mute options to make it easier to collaborate with colleagues. The ExpressConnect smart connection feature ensures uninterrupted Wi-Fi performance and network selection based on signal strength, channel congestion, and router type. Dell also offers workspace optimization with ExpressCharge Boost, which provides up to 35% charge in approximately 20 minutes, 80% charge in an hour. The new Dell Latitude devices also include two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports.

Sustainability is fundamental to Dell. The company has created a range of eco-friendly commercial PCs. These are the first computers to feature recycled carbon fiber construction and 21% bioplastic covers. All parts are painted with low VOC water-based materials.

The all new Latitude 5320, 5420 and 5520 save energy and protect the environment. The devices are EPEAT Gold certified. The Latitude 5000 series is available in 13.3″, 14″, and 15.6″ displays and can be equipped with ComfortView Plus blue light protection to enhance productivity.

The 5320 has 4-sided narrow bezels, an anti-glare screen to help you focus on your work, and a camera shutter for privacy. Webcam – FHD. The Latitude 5000 series is also available with 11th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro processors. RAM is up to 64 GB and SSD up to 2 TB, or up to 4 TB on a 15-inch device with two storage options. Wireless connectivity can be upgraded to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, and optional 4G LTE access is perfect for those on the go. Notebooks support a 42 Wh or 63 Wh battery.

With smaller screen bezels, they are more compact, with a minimum weight of only 1.2 kg. The express login feature on the new Latitude 5000 series detects the presence of a person and allows you to easily log in using the IR camera and Windows Hello without lifting a finger. The new 13.3-inch and 14-inch versions of the Dell Latitude 5000 have the option to add the SafeScreen privacy filter. Leaving traditional ports essential for business, Dell has added two USB Type-C™ ports with Thunderbolt 4, while retaining HDMI and additional USB ports, as well as RJ45 in 14″ and 15″.

Dell continues to improve the design of its products to better fit into the home environment of remote workers. Tucked away inside a dedicated monitor stand, the OptiPlex Ultra is a compact, full-featured desktop solution with the flexibility of a traditional desktop.

Both the OptiPlex 3090 Ultra and 7090 Ultra support Dell Unified Workspace and the Dell Optimizer, which uses artificial intelligence that learns and reacts to how a person works and automatically improves application performance. With interchangeable elements for maximum flexibility and a single power cord, Ultra makes it easy to set up your desk and help keep your remote office clutter-free. OptiPlex 3090 Ultra and OptiPlex 7090 Ultra went on sale January 28, 2021.

Smart solutions for a distributed team

Dell Client Command Suite eliminates configuration complexity and helps save valuable time and effort so distributed teams can easily manage software, firmware deployment and system configuration. The Dell Power Manager application makes sure that the battery lasts as long as possible and adjusts the operation according to the user’s mode. This application is supported on Latitude systems.
