Tech giant Google has rolled out Google Chat app for Android and iOS users.
The Google Chat app is integrated within the Gmail application and is now part of its ecosystem, including features such as Rooms, Gmail, Meat. Till now only Google Workspace users were using this chat app, but now Google has launched it for all Gmail users.
What is Google Chat App?
Replacement of Google chat app Basic hangout app which provides direct message and team chat room facility like Microsoft Team and Slack. This chat app was initially allowed to use Google workspace customers only.
Who will be able to use this app?
IPhone and iPad users can easily use this chat app from the Gmail interface. It also includes meats, rooms and mail. However, Android users will have to wait now because the company has not yet launched on this platform. Its Android version version is expected soon.
How to use Google chat app
If you are iPhone and iPad users, then you have to follow these steps to use chat application.
1. First of all, the Gmail application has to be updated through the App Store or Google Play Store.
2. After this, you have to click on the sandwich menu in the top left of the screen.
3. After this, click on Settings and then you will have to click on your personal Google account.
4. After this, you have to enable the messaging platform by clicking on the Select Chat option.
