American multinational computer technology company Dell has emerged as India’s ‘most preferred brand’. This information was given in a report. TRA Research, the company that produced the report, said in a statement that ‘Mi’ of Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has emerged as the second most popular brand in the TRA Brand Trust Report 2021.
It said that LG TV is in third place and its rival Samsung TV is in fourth place. At the same time, Apple’s iPhone has been ranked as the fifth most preferred brand. He was at number two in this list last year.
This brand is on top
The Samsung mobile phone, which topped this list four times, has slipped to the eighth position in the new report. Chandramouli, CEO, TRA Research, said, “Laptop company Dell has performed exceptionally well, securing the top rank as India’s ‘Most Wanted Brand’ among 1,000 brands listed in the report. 18 Indian brands, nine American brands in the top-50 There are eight South Korean brands and seven Chinese brands.”
These brands performed well
The top-50 brands have brands from different sectors that reflect the divers choice of the customers. However, mobile phones are the most preferred category with nine entrants, followed by laptops and televisions (four brands each). In the list, Oppo grabbed the sixth position with an impressive increase of 27 places over the previous year, followed by LG Refrigerators at the seventh position, up 22 places from the 2020 report.
These brands are included in the top 20
Sony Entertainment Television is also included in the top 10 brands. Hindi entertainment channel has been placed at the ninth position. Chinese phone brand Vivo is at number 10. There is not a single Indian brand in the top 10 brands. In the list, Indian brands like deodorant brand Fogg (12th), milk product company Amul Milk (13th), ICICI Bank (17th), Amul Butter (20th) are included in the top 20 brands.
