Earlier, postpaid users had to make a lot of effort to get their number changed to prepaid. But now this will not happen. Soon postpaid users will be able to change their number to prepaid number without changing the SIM card. Actually the telecom department is going to start the OTP i.e. One Time Password Authentication Process. After which the user will not need to change the SIM for the prepaid connection from postpaid. But how will all of them know about this. & Nbsp;

Actually the COAI i.e. Cellular Operators Association of India had placed this proposal in front of the Telecom Department. The department said in its note that Jio, Airtel and Vodafone & ndash; Idea, the three big private telecom companies in the country, last year asked to process EG to transfer the connection from postpaid to prepaid. Now the user has to go through the KYC process again to do so.

Such a house will be able to transfer postpaid to prepaid

To transfer a postpaid number to a prepaid, the number must be at least 90 days old.

For this, the user must first enter a request through the company’s website or app.

After this, a message will come to the user, in which the transaction ID and a one-time password will be found. & Nbsp;

The validity of this OTP will be only 10 minutes.  

After entering OTP, user will get confirmation. & Nbsp;

With confirmation, the user will get the date of completion of the process. & Nbsp;

Users can complete this process with the help of OTP as well as IVRS i.e. voice calling. & Nbsp;

According to the Telecom Department, this process will be completed in half an hour. & Nbsp;
