Shortly after the Chinese launch, we saw many rumors that the smartphone will be coming to India soon, but then it seemed that the reno 3 Pro would be a completely different device for India. One shares a name with a Chinese name. . Oppo finally wrapped up with the reno 3 Pro earlier this month, and of course, many of these rumors have been confirmed.

The reno 3 Pro has thin bezels on three sides of the screen while the chin is thick. It also has an in-display fingerprint scanner, which we would expect from a smartphone at this price.
Oppo has placed an air piece just below the frame of the smartphone. The frame feels plastic for contact and does not cool in an air-conditioned room. It felt the same way in the back and did not build a lot of confidence, as other appliances in this price range use premium materials. All the buttons on the reno 3 Pro are well positioned and easy to reach with a handheld device. The SIM tray is on the left side of the device and can hold two Nano SIMs with a microSD card.
Ports
The collision is not very wide, the reason for this is that the tool vibrates slightly when placed on a flat surface. Oppo offers the reno 3 Pro in three colors: Orwell Blue, Midnight Black and Sky White. We had an oral blue review unit and we want to end the trend.

oppo reno 3 pro has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with full HD + resolution. Color output is good and you can adjust the color temperature. We found it bright enough to be used from outside. The display is long when using the phone with one hand, and the upper edge is not easy to reach. Oppo has also included a fingerprint scanner in these displays below the panel.

Powering the smartphone is a new Meditech Helio P95SC, with an Oka core processor paired with 8 GB of RAM with a 2.2 GHz clip. The smartphone is available in two storage editions, 128 GB and 256 GB. The base variant is priced at Rs. 29,990 while the higher type is priced at Rs. 32,990. Oppo currently has 20 versions on sale in India and it is expected that 256 GB will be brought in different variants later.

OS
The UI is clean and easy to use with many useful features. Among other things, it is much easier to capture screen shots and start screen recording in the smart sidebar. You can use the on-screen button for navigation or swipe on gestures.

Since oppo reno 3 pro is the first smartphone with the MediaTek Helio P95SC, we were curious to see how it performed. It managed to perform well without hesitation or interruption. Since our unit has 8 GB RAM, we did not face any hurdle while doing multi tasks. However, this phone did not feel as fast as other phones used in this price bracket, such as the Realm X2 Pro.
Pubg test
We run PUBG Mobile on the device and it defaults to high settings with graphics set to HD and setting the frame rate to high. The game was able to go without a break or fuss. We played for 20 minutes and the device barely overheated. You should be able to play on this instrument for a long time without feeling any discomfort.
The battery
reno 3 Pro packs a 4025mAh battery that can be used for one and a half days on a single charge. Using the provided 30W charger, we were able to fully charge the device in 30 minutes and up to 68% in about an hour.

Premium Oppo smartphones are known for their camera performance, and we were expecting oppo reno 3 pro to be on this front. This back / code camera setup has a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, a 13-megapixel telephone camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 119-degree field. View, and a 2-megapixel mono camera. On the front, the phone has a 44-megapixel selfie shooter with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Oppo is promoting it as a “44 megapixel dual camera setup” on the reno 3 Pro.
Camera app on oppo reno 3 pro has Night, Portrait, Time Lapse, Pano and Slow Mode. It has HDR and brilliant colors (contrast) and shortcuts for various filters that you can apply before taking a shot. Identification of AI scenes continues by default and it was quick to find out what we were shooting. You can also take macros using the ultra wide angle camera as it has auto fix.
Final opinion
In contrast, oppo reno 3 pro does not offer similar performance. Its relatively weak processor is evident in our benchmark. However, it’s not terrible for everyday use, and if you’re not a power user, you won’t really notice the difference. The camera’s performance is good for the price, but this phone can do with some sync to improve video quality in low light. You can consider the reno 3 Pro for its camera capabilities, but if you’re looking for the most value for money, then the Real X2 should be your choice.
