Most budget smartphones are boring to look at. To keep prices down and still offer good performance, manufacturers generally do not like the design. realme c2 seems like an exception here, as it is quite a viewer. Like other budget smartphones, realme c2 is made of plastic, but the back panel has a unique finish and will catch the eye.
realme has chosen a pattern of Rear Geometric Diamond Cut, which pops up our Diamond Blue Review Unit. The post occurs when the light hits the back of the phone, giving it a premium look. Thanks to this termination, the device does not pick up fingerprints. The Realme logo is close to the bottom of the rear, and is associated with the landscape orientation.
realme c2 sports a large display with a waterproof icon for the top selfie camera. Our review unit comes with a pre-installed screen protector. Thanks to its frame, we felt comfortable holding realme c2 in our hands. The power button is well positioned to the right, and is easy to reach. The volume buttons are in the opposite direction, and all the buttons provide good click response.
realme c2 has a micro USB port, loudspeaker and a basic microphone at the bottom, while the top is completely empty. Like the Realme C1, this phone also loses fingerprint scanners to keep costs down. We found that realme c2’s build quality is good, and it didn’t scratch the surface in our time.

The camera
realme has opted for a dual camera setup on realme c2, which has a 13-megapixel primary sensor with f / 2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front side, this phone has a 5 megapixel camera.
It has instant toggles for HDR, chroma boost, filters and flash. It also has pano, expert, time lapse and slow mode. The app provides a 2x digital zoom toggle. The beautification toggle helps you determine the beauty you need.
We liked the photos we took with realme c2, in broad daylight, this phone managed to capture shots that focused well on nearby objects, but objects in the distance were not so good . We also found that realme c2 was not compatible with the exposure being correct.

realme c2 specifications and software
realme c2 is a budget offering, and its features are quite modest. It is powered by the Meditech Helio P22SC, an octa-core processor with Cortex-A53 core, and is built using a 12nm manufacturing process. In addition, the base version includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
There is also an option with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Our review unit was the most expensive variable costing Rs 500. Has 7,999 (Rs. 5,999 compared to the base version).
realme c2 has a 6.1-inch HD + (720×1560 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for gaming. It has a good viewing angle and is very bright on the outside. There is also an option to change the color temperature of the display to your liking.
Battery
The realme C2 packs a 4000mAh battery inside, and it ships the phone in the box with a 10W charger. Both support SIM 4G as well as VoLTE.
The realme also offers a dedicated microSD card slot that lets you expand storage.
PUBG test
With graphics smooth and frame rate moderate, Pubg Mobile runs on low settings. The gameplay was not smooth and we were hesitating. We changed the frame rate to low, which caused the gameplay to vary a bit, but it still didn’t go smoothly.
realme c2‘s 4000 mAh battery gives good battery life. In our HD video loop test, the phone was 20 hours and 29 minutes, which is very good. With our usage, which also included WhatsApp, using the phone for two hours of navigation with Google Maps, and running some benchmarks, the phone lasted a day and a half. The supplied charger takes more than 2 hours to charge the battery.
Os or software in realme c2
realme c2 runs Color ORS 6 on top of Android 9 Pie, the latest version of Android. The software is custom made, and some features have been added above. Our review unit was running a March 2019 security patch.
Some apps like realme Community, Daily Hunt, realme c2, Newsoint, UC Browser, Amazon Shopping, Share Chat and PTM come pre-installed on realme c2. You can go ahead and uninstall them to free up space on the device.

There is support for the theme and you can download more using the Theme Store app. The App Market is an alternative to the Google Play Store, and it comes pre-installed, but we found this spam as it continued to receive notifications throughout the day. realme c2 also has a Game Center app which is just a store for games.
Like other real smartphones, the C2 has driving and riding modes that pair with the Bluetooth unit of the phone when the phone can be automatically put into DND mode. It can also send SMS messages when you reject an incoming call. Hint navigation is available, and allows you to navigate instead of using the on-screen button.
