Instant messaging app WhatsApp can soon bring a special feature to improve the chat experience of its users. The name of this new feature is ‘New Archive’ and with its help, you can hide the chats of the contacts that bother you. Currently the company offers users the option of archive chats, but this does not allow the chats to be hidden forever. Now with this new feature, users will be able to hide these chats forever.
WhatsApp has started rolling out this new feature on its beta version on Android 2.21.11.1. In this, you can keep all your archive chats. According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has now started rolling out a feature hiding erratic chats in the chat list. The special thing about this feature of the company is that the chats now archived will remain hidden in the chat list even when the new message arrives.
Stable version can be released soon
Currently only WhatsApp beta testers can use this feature. You can use this feature by going to its settings and tapping on the Keep Chats Archived given in the Chats option. With this, it will mute all the new messages coming in these chats and you will not get any notification of these messages. It is expected that WhatsApp can also bring its stable version soon. After which all users will be able to use this feature.
